Text description provided by the architects. Two housing blocks next to the new square Sjövikstorget at Liljeholmen in Stockholm.
A dark plaster façade facing the square and a warm yellow toned color on the inside of the block.
The front, facing the spectacular sea view, has an irregular window setting, scattered balconies and an outdoor room in glass mounted on the façade.
The window setting provides the very efficient plan layout with variety.
The fully glazed extra height ground floor contains restaurants and shops, opening up to terraces on the square during the summer months.
The project consists of two residential blocks. The second block, Sjövikstorget 2, will be fully inhabited at the end of 2013.
